Maisonette apartment that offers wide space, a terrace and a privacy.
All this plus excellent location with great public transport accessibility yet with absolute serenity. This unlikely combination is met in this atypical apartment.
74 m2 is truly great deal of space considering considering its features. Main room is open with upper gallery. Airiness that this space offers is impossible in regular apartment. I myself spent over 10 years in maisonette apartment, I even had an office in one and therefore I can firmly say that airiness is the alpha and omega of such habitation.
This apartment also has one interesting feature. Who knows what kind of strange energy is at play here. But more about this at the end of this page. Truth is that in the evening, this apartment has truly magical look. Therefore, make sure to look at it in the later pictures.
Quality of living is not based only on numbers and boring parameters. Excellent apartment has something that others cannot offer. Something that is immediately apparent. It grabs you by the heart and you know that you will be happy to own it. On top of it all, great location and complete privacy, since the apartment is located in the upper floor of extensively maintained original house from 1890. And neighbours? Both upper apartments are in possession of one owner, therefore you will get to meet him immediately.

3D interactive apartment tour
We prepared model of the apartment so that you don’t have to study the plans and go over the pictures tediously. You can walk in it on display or with VR glasses.
The living room with dining area constantly communicates with the terrace, both of its side walls have large windows. You are guessing correctly that this factor gives the room a lot of light and constant contact with exterior, which makes the apartment appear larger.
One of the dominant features of the apartment is living room’s corner with the large window. It is not only practical for dose of daily light but also looks great and vitalizes the interior. The 5.5 m2 terrace may serve as your personal botanical garden. Thanks to embedding, it is protected against most weather conditions.
Most likely, you will spend most of your time here. During the day or night…
…you can enjoy a glass of your favourite wine in this pleasant and inspirational environment, which doesn’t lose its spark even in the evening light.
The kitchen countertops are older but completely functional. There is enough space in the kitchen, even for demanding cook. Although here you will most likely be drinking wine rather than cooking anyway. It is a bohemian after all, I think we can agree on that.
We will come back down into the living area but now we will take a look upstairs.
The stairs are another visually dominant element in the apartment. The wood gives the space lively and warm feeling.
The gallery is not only a nice visual effect but also practical – you can fit an office here or another build-in wardrobe.
You can access the bedroom through double-wing doors.
Nice and lively detail of the interior are obvious roof joists. The bed is incorporated into them uniquely. Two roof windows give the space a lot of light.
And even in the evening the apartment looks interesting, slopping walls are simply something special. In the first picture, there is storage space behind white cabinet in the corner.
We talked about space already, but light is another important element. This picture speaks for itself.
The toilet is separated from the bathroom, which has large window for lot of daily light.
There is a gas boiler in the cabinet next to the washing machine on the left. It heats the apartment and the water.
If you are unsure as to where the access to the bathroom is, it is the first door on the left. Right next to them there is large build-in wardrobe. A lot of light falls on the hallway through the large window. Rooms that we didn’t take pictures of are entrance vestibule a pantry (2.3 m2) – we had to hide those unnecessary things somewhere.
This beauty is right above the house – entrance to the park is approximately 250m from your door.
Speaking of the house’s front door, here it is. This house has been here for 130 years. And it is truly well-maintained. The main reason for this being regular income from renting non-residential premises, income that goes to the Ownership Association (25.000 CZK/month).
The house looks great even from the inside, since it has its original design including the railing. It is important to realize that you can redo the apartment in any way you like. But the house? Hardly. This will definitely not bother you here. In the second picture, you can see door into the apartment, next to the on the right is communal attic. Nobody really visits it much, though – therefore it is basically a part of the upper two apartments. It is not used for storage but for drying clothes or as a workshop – because it has working table.
You can find everything that the city centre has to offer in the immediate proximity of the apartment – except for greenery. Everything, everywhere, now. Despite that, you’d be in quiet side street.
So, what do you say? You just got to know your new home. Lastly, few technical things.
